Main features of cashmere products

Mongolian goats have lived in highly variable conditions of Central Asian plateau for thousands of years, which leads to explaining the finest quality cashmere wool it produces. The cashmere is the natural luxury fiber that is the most delicate wool; therefore the cashmere product has its own features such as warmth, softness, light weight and luxuries.

Washing

If the cashmere product is cleaned properly, it softens even further. You are advised to use professional dry cleaning in order to keep the garment in the right shape and color for years to come. However, if you prefer to clean your cashmere and camel wool garments at home, please  hand-wash in accordance with the following instructions.

Gently place your garment in 30C lukewarm water, preferably with wool washing liquid, without rubbing and wringing. If the garment is soaked  for too long, it may contract. Do not use washing powder and bleach when washing cashmere and camel wool products. Rinse thoroughly with clean water until wool washing liquid is cleared from the garment. Gently grasp the garment in a dry cotton towel in order to release the excess water. Do not wring out. Dry on a flat surface without stretching. if necessary, iron by using low temperature steam from 0.5-1 cm distance.

Notable advices:

Perfumes with rich color should not be used on the cashmere and camel wool garments from close distance. After first few times of wearing cashmere and camel wool products, especially under other clothes, small balls (pilling) may appear on the surface of the garments. Pilling is not a quality defect, but it is the natural characteristic of cashmere (so you can be sure that it is cashmere wool). You only need to clean the garment properly, and remove pilling once in a while for the first few wears, and you will soon find that the pilling becomes less frequent and will disapear totally. It is easy to remove the pilling when the garment is still wet. Sticky tape is recommended to clean the product from dust and dirt. Washing machines that have a special program for woolen products (i.e. Wool Mark) can be used to wash cashmere and camel wool products. Lastly, please remember your luxurious cashmere garment will age inversely with time if you take care of it just the way it caresses you even gentler with time.
